Medea
Mr. Macfadyen appeared as “Jason” in a new interpretation of Euripides’ ‘Medea’ for UCLA Live. The world premiere was performed at UCLA’s Freud Playhouse (MacGowan Hall) from September 23 – October 18, 2009, and was directed by Lenka Udovicki. Ms. Annette Bening portrayed “Medea.” Medea Press Release (PDF)
Mr. Macfadyen has also written a number of plays, including ‘1905’ which received the Questors Theatre Student Playwriting Award in 1991.
